By participating in SAMBA events, trail work, group rides, or any other activities organized by SAMBA, you agree to the following waiver of liability:
SAMBA organizes outdoor activities that may include inherent risks associated with mountain biking, trail maintenance, and physical exercise. By signing up as a member or participating in any SAMBA activity, you agree that:
- You assume all risks associated with participation, including physical injury, accidents, or property damage.
- You release SAMBA, its board members, volunteers, organizers, and affiliates from any liability, claims, or causes of action arising from your participation in SAMBA activities.
- SAMBA shall not be held responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during any activity, including trail work, group rides, or other events.
- This waiver is binding, and your participation in SAMBA activities is voluntary.
3. Membership and Event Participation
By becoming a SAMBA member or participating in SAMBA events, you agree to the following:
- You will follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by SAMBA organizers.
- You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in SAMBA activities.
- You understand that SAMBA events may involve physically demanding activities and should not be undertaken without proper preparation.
4. Code of Conduct
SAMBA expects all participants to act respectfully and responsibly during our activities. Inappropriate or unsafe behavior, including reckless riding, trail damage, or disrespectful language, may result in removal from SAMBA activities and events.
